Eco-Friendly Wax Options

Coconut and Rapeseed Wax

Our container candles are crafted from a unique blend of sustainably sourced coconut and rapeseed wax, ensuring clean and long-lasting burns. The coconut wax is derived from small farms in Asia and certified under the Rainforest Alliance Sustainable Agriculture Standard, which improves farmers' incomes by up to 47%. The rapeseed wax, grown in the EU from existing agricultural land, adds stability while maintaining an excellent scent throw (both hot and cold).

Areas for Improvement

At The Noor Collective, we strive to grow and improve our sustainability efforts. However, we acknowledge areas for potential enhancement:

  1. Wax Sourcing Transparency - While our waxes are sustainably sourced, once we can afford to we aim to provide clearer supply chain details and certifications to assure our customers of their full environmental and ethical compliance, as well as potentially work directly at the source on a one-to-one basis.
  2. Carbon Footprint of Imports - Coconut and rapeseed waxes involve transportation emissions. We are exploring local alternatives or carbon offset programs to minimise this impact.
  3. Fragrance Oil Components - While our fragrance oils are designed for clean burns, we are working towards ensuring every component is biodegradable and free from any potential environmental pollutants.

We are committed to continuous improvement, holding ourselves accountable to our values of sustainability, transparency, and ethical responsibility.

Together, let’s light up a better, greener world.
